Lyle: Why did you do it?
Mara: Because he picked up where you left off.
Lyle: What does that even mean?
Mara: He said the things that you used to say to me. He treated me like you once did. He continued what you stopped doing.
Lyle: Really? And what is that?
Mara: Loving me.
Lyle: That does not make any sense.
Mara: No it doesn’t.
Lyle: This cannot be taken against me. This is not a valid reason for cheating.
Mara: No it’s not. But you asked for the reason. I gave you an answer.
